Yanni Hufnagel is one of the leading basketball coaches and recruiters within NCAA college hoops. He has been activity recruiting and coaching at the college level since 2009 when he was working with Harvard Crimsons Men’s Basketball.

Hufnagel is considered one of the best recruiters in modern NCAA history. When he worked with the Crimson’s team he managed to attract top tier talent that helped to get the school to its first NCAA tournament in a long time. This happened during the 2012 and 2013 season. Hufnagel was named as one of the “dream team” coaches in college basketball. He is an outstanding procurer of talent and Crimson’s 90 – 30 basketball record during his four years at the university proves this point.

Yanni Hufnagel’s coaching ability is attributed to his keen understanding of the game. While Hufnagel was cut from his high school basketball team; he still managed to learn the game of basketball. His primary strength is that he understands the game from the player level. He knows that a team must have the right players to effectively compete. Yanni Hufnagel’s time with University of Nevada Wolf Pack was also productive. He helped this team to the 2017 NCAA Tournament. The young and prosperous coach had turned down other opportunities from other top ranked NCAA basketball programs to work with the Wolf Pack. Many college basketball insiders expected good things from this young coach once he joined this team. Hufnagel delivered and the Wolf Pack’s record was 14 – 4. They were the Mountain West conference champions for that year. People can expect greater things from Hufnagel and his expert skill in the future.
