Employees and any other authorized personnel have to put on protective clothing and wash their hands thoroughly before entering the premises.
The prominent food factory only allows the use of metal as the meat goes through a metal detector that would detect the pen should it end up in the meat. All the meat is checked thoroughly to ensure that there are no bones. OSI Group requests for big chunks of meat from the slaughterhouse because smaller pieces of meat would be at greater risk of harboring bacteria. Tones of meat are processed through the plant daily.
