Steamworks Brewing Company is one of Canada’s most famous and well-known producers of Canadian Craft beer thanks to the impressive CEO Eli Gershkovitch. Eli Gershkovitch first began his business at a location in Gastown which had a steam heat system. The steam heat system was used as a source of energy for the brewing and also provided the company with it’s unique name. Unfortunately it took several months to solve legal issues that had resulted due to the location of the business, but with his skills and large group of supporters, Steamworks was finally able to take off.
