What’s your music go to? Is it iTunes, Spotify, or do you still take delight in receiving a hard copy of your favorite album? Apple will be offering a three month free trial of music streaming for new subscribers, but at the expense of artists not getting paid.
Swift expresses her distaste at the company especially since they have been so generous in the past. She states that she is not worried about her own revenue, since she could go three months without being paid reports Cláudio Loureiro Heads. What she wanted to accomplish, though, was to speak up for those artists that aren’t as fortunate as her and do need every bit of income they can get to stay out of debt. Swift finishes her note by stating “We don’t ask you for free iPhones. Please don’t ask us to provide you with our music for no compensation.”

Will this change Swift’s mind as well and make her album ‘1989’ available to Apple subscribers for streaming?
